Steps To Create A Stone Monument

Typical Stone Monument Timeline

  • Contact DPJ office to arrange an in-field or office meeting
to discuss ideas, cemetery options and budget
  • Agree memorial concept - DPJ sends sale offer with price,
main memorial specs and a conceptual drawing.
  • Accept offer - DPJ sends invoice and documentation
such as CCAV application for memorial form.
  • Pay deposit / outstanding amount - DPJ receipts to you
  • DPJ commence any stone ordering and preparation upon
receipt of a deposit or full payment.
  • Allow 8-12 weeks for stone preparation.
  • At your convenience, give consideration to your preferred
inscription. The team is available for any assistance here.
  • Forward your proposed inscription and any design features.
  • DPJ team send a formal layout for sign-off or amendments.

Ideally, aim to have your inscription drafted, discussed and
approved within the 6-8 weeks after deposit has been paid.

  • Weeks 10-12, the memorial inscription and other works
are completed by the DPJ team.
  • Installation is then scheduled from week 13 onwards
(guide only, can be influenced by weather, approval timings etc)
  • Picture of the installed memorial is emailed and any
    outstanding payments become due.
